Product Description (Premium Solar Shades: 1% Openness)
The Premium Solar Shades are a high-end designer collection of solar roller shades and are certified by the GREENGUARD Environmental institute. This 1% openness solar shade is designed with added privacy in mind (compared to the other openness percentages) and it provides a high UV blockage figure of 99%. An ideal choice for rooms where total blackout is not required and a limited view is appreciated. Compliments any modern decor. Even though there is a 1% openness to this solar shade material, it is not as easy to see through and does not provide a substantial view. If preserving a view is important to you, please visit our other solar shade products. While it provides more privacy than other openness percentages the 1% openness does not provide complete privacy.
Note: On all roller shades, the width ordered will be from "tip to tip" of the operating mechanism. For proper operation, the fabric width will be narrower than the width ordered. This can produce small light gaps on each side of the shade. To compensate, you may want to order an outside mounted shade. Also, due to the characteristics of some shade materials, some shades tend to track to one side or the other. These characteristics should not be considered a defect.

- Roller shades will be narrower than the width ordered. To avoid the resulting light gap on each side of the shade and to achieve maximum privacy and light control, consider Outside Mount and overlap the shade accordingly.
- Shades will have a larger gap on the control side of the shade than the non-control side of the shade. For continuous cord loop, the control side is the side the cord loop is on. For motorization, the control side is on the right side of the shade.
- Extra material will be automatically added to the ordered height of your shade by the factory. It is required so material is always covering the roller tube when the shade is fully lowered. Never operate your shade lower than the ordered height.

- Continuous cord is made with Rollease Skyline series components: quiet, strong and the most durable. The chain can be either a plastic beaded nylon cord or a stainless steel beaded chain
- An outdoor continuous loop cord option allows your roller shade to be installed in an outdoor/unconditioned space - features an upgraded clutch and the cord is a plastic beaded chain that is more durable than the metal chain that could rust outdoors
- Solar shades installed in an outdoor/unconditioned environment should not be left in the down/lowered position while unattended or in windy conditions or other weather conditions such as rain/snow
- Cordless spring roller and continuous loop cord lifts can be mounted to the top, side or rear (without Cassette Valance)
- The outdoor hem bar uses a 1 1/4" aluminum tube that is wrapped with the shade material and has elastic straps on each side.
- Cassette valance roller shades can only be mounted to the top/ceiling or rear/wall. Cannot be side mounted.
- Cassette valance measures 3" (Height) x 3 1/4" (Depth) - Brackets will add approximately 3/8" to the depth
- Beaded nylon chain for continuous loop lift is a neutral vanilla color
